Valkeaa joulua /White Christmas

Enpä olekaan ennen tehnyt valkoista joulukorttia, mutta kerta se on ensimmäinenkin. Nyt oli yritettävä kun Anelma tällaisen haasteen heitti JCC haasteessa numero #34. Ja samalla tässä vastaan Taavan heittämään haasteeseen, ei tähän nyt kyllä mahtunut enempää noita isoja metallikukkia, yritin kyllä :)

I've never before done a white christmascard, bot there must be a first time for everything. Now I just had to try when Anelma threw this challenge in JCC challenge #34. At the same time this is for the challenge I got from Taava, I tried but there wasn't room enough for more of those bigger metallic flowers.

Joulupukki / Santa Claus

Tämän kertaisen JCC haasteen #31 oli suunnitellut Miijja, kiitokset pohjasta. Kaikki paperit ja kuva ovat Dowecraftin Victorian Christmas paketista. Teksti jäi alta pois, koska se jo kuvassa oli.

This time JCC challenge #31 sketch was made by Miijja. All the papers and the picture are from Dowecraft Victorian Christmas paperstock. I left away the text below bacause the picture allready included one.

Hesarin kilpailu / The contest in Helsingin Sanomat

Kun Paula nyt tuli kyseneeksi, niin kerronpa että näyttää siltä, että tulin kolmanneksi Helsingin Sanomien syyskorttikilpailussa. Ei ole tosin vielä ainakaan sieltä tullut minkäänlaista yhteydenottoa. Osallistuin alla olevalla kortilla. Ja kiitos onnitteluista Paula :)

Because Paula asked I will tell You that it looks like I made it till third place on the contest of the best autumncard in Finlands biggest newspaper HelsinginSanomat. Anyway, they haven't taken contact with me, at least not yet. I participated with this card

Palkinto /Award

Els taas muisti meitä, Eveliinaa,Valtteria ja minua tällä ihanalla palkinnolla. Tunnen oloni tosi hemmotelluksi ja lapset tulivat tois iloisiksi, tosin he ihmettelivät miten me oikein saadaan tuo palkinto ulos tuolta koneelta meille itselle :D

Els remembered us, me and my kids Eveliina and Valtteri again with this wonderfull Award. I feel myself a little bit spoiled and kids were very happy too, even if they were wondering how we can get that Award out of the computer home to ourselves :D

Jouluista taas/ Christmas card again

Värittelin tämän Edwinin Distresseillä ja Derwentin akvarellikynillä. Lopuksi sipaisin kimalletta hatun reunukseen. Pohjana käytin Friday sketchersin luonnosta #26.

I coloured this Edwin with Distress and Derwent akvarell pencills. I put some glitter to the hat. I used the sketch #26 from Friday sketchers.

Toinen kokeilu / Another attempt

Toisella Srah Kayn leimalla sain aikaan tällaisen kortin, kun käytin Stamp with Sarah Kayn haasteen #17 pohjaa. Ja tämä kuva on vieläkin vaikeampi värittää, aikaa meni tosi paljon, enkä ole oikein tyytyväinen lopputulokseen.

With another Sarah Kay stamp I made this card using the sketch from Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge #17. This one was even harder to colour than the one I made before. It took quite long time to colour and I'm not really satisfied with it.

Halloween

Meillä juhlittiin Halloweenia jo perinteeksi muodostuneilla lastenjuhlilla.


We celebrated Halloween with traditional childrens party.

Näitä väsäiltiin lasten kanssa perjantaina marsipaanista.

Here are our little devil Eveliina and the poor pirot Valtteri who lost his eyepatch.

Ja tässä juhlakansa tanssin huumassa, sulassa sovussa noidat, pikku kurpitsa, batman, merirosvot ja muut.

And here's the cosy guest of the party dancing; witches, little pumpkin, batman , pirots and everybody else.

Ja hauskaa oli :)Merirosvokin löysi miekkansa ja silmälappunsa.

And we had a lots of fun :) And the pirot found his sword and eyepatch.
